Paper Players Challenge #175

I embossed the snowflake stamp  in white and used distress ink to color in the background with a dauber.

{Freshly Made} #115

The silver embossing on the message shows up better in person but hindsight tells me it should be white.
Maybe the silver is more subtle but the white would show up better.

Paper Players #168

Sorry about the greeting, at the end I saw "birthday" card...but don't men get cards on other occasions?
This is a pre-historic shirt stamp but I updated it with an embossing folder and daubing some distress ink.
Other stamps are from Stampin' Up.  Paper from the collection of paper on the floor in one neat pile.

The Paper Players Challenge #141

I made my own ombre and solid paper from the required colors and used a flower die from Stampin' Up.
Brads are also from Stampin' Up.

{Freshly Made} Sketches #81

The mirror is a Dreamweaver stencil.  I used embossing paste and a Balzer stencil on top of the mirror.

Dreamweaver March

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

All from Dreamweaver Dot Stencil.  Greeting from Hellman.  Three versions using different
mediums.  I am officially dotted out after this.  It looks like maybe I got into the Irish Brew today.
1.  The first one I inked in the dots, then put through the xyron machine face down to get sticky
part on the dots and then I used flocking all over.  It feels better than it looks.  LOL
2.  Clear embossing and then added green glitter.  This is the best one when you see actual physical card.
The glitter looks really nice and I'm not a big glitter fan.
3.  White glossy paste and well maybe I should have done two coats as the green from the paper
comes through.

Freshly Made Sketches #74 and Dreamweaver February

The stencil is from Dreamweaver and dies are from Spellbinders.  Leaves are from a Stampin' Up punch.
Ink is Ranger Distress applied w/ foam brush. This is very CAS!!!  LOL  I don't really know how this
ties in w/ love and friendship for Dreamweaver but I am grateful for companies like Dreamweaver that make products I love to use and experiment/play with.

Paper Players Challenge #134

All the elements of the sketch are here....but somehow I really feel the need to fix/re-do this.
But, I'm bravely posting anyway.  Maybe it will re-surface "altered".

Dreamweaver Stencils "Something New"

Dreamweaver "Something New" for January 2013.  Playing with alcohol inks is new to me.
Don't laugh.  I dotted the felt and swirled to make the "flowers".  Dot embossed the yellow
layer. Mounted onto black card stock.  The new Dreamweaver "Thank You" stencil I
used embossing ink and embossed w/ black fine embossing powder.  I kept having a hard
time w/ the paste  running so I went to the embossing and that was new to me too (w/ the stencils).
The easel is new too.  LOL
See below for another card  using the daisy stencil for this month's challenge.
